1.Adisham Bungalow


Sir Thomas Lister Villiers an English planter who worked at the George Stuarts Tea Industry built the Adisham Bungalow . Now the Monastery is owned by the Benedictine Monks. At the bungalow make sure to taste the Jam and the Cordial made in the orchards of the Adisham Bungalow.

2.Dhowa Rock Temple



Dhowa Rock Temple is also known as the Dowa Raja Maha Viharaya which stands in the village called Dhowa.  It is one of the beautiful places to visit in Badulla. Temple has a great religious heritage along with a great history. The shrine consists of plenty of colorful paintings and beautiful sculptures which was influenced by the art of the Kandyan era. 3.Lipton’s Seat


Once the great tea planter Sir Thomas Lipton used to sit and observe his pride from the Lipton Seat. You can easily observe the Dambatenna tea estate and as far as Hambantota Harbor in the Southern Coastal belt from Lipton Seat. Try to visit the point of observation in the morning to get the best view.

4.Nine Arches Bridge

6.Narangala Mountain



Narangala Mountain is very popular among the climbers and it rises .It is situated 20 km away from the Badulla district in the Uva Province. 
There are two entrances to Narangala mountain, Keenakale side and Tangamale Devalaya side.
The city is overshadowed by the Namunukula range of mountains . It was a base of a pre-colonial Sinhalese local prince  who ruled the area under the main King in Kandy before it became part of the British Empire. 

7.Muthiyangana Raja maha viharaya.




Muthiyanganaya Raja Maha Viharaya lies in the centre of the city of Badulla.  Emperor Rawana was ruling this country with Badulla as the capital. It is also believed that the War of Rama and Rawana took place in this area. 

8.Bogoda Wooden Bridge.



The bridge is situated at 7 K.m. west of Badulla.The Bogoda Wooden Bridge is said to be the oldest surviving wooden bridge in Sri Lanka.
 All parts of this bridge were constructed from wood, including the use of wooden nails as fixing material. The bridge was built across the Gallanda Oya, which linked Badulla and Kandy on an ancient route.

9.Bambarakanda Falls


It is the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka . The height of the waterfall is approximately 863 feet and it is ranked as the 299th tallest waterfall in the world. Bambarakanda Falls is a branch of Kuda Oya which later joins the Walawe River.
There are many ways that you can use to reach the Bambarakanda waterfall. The best way is to take the Balangoda to Badulla Route. 

10. Dunhinda Falls




Dunhinda Falls is an amazing waterfall in Badulla,  It is about 64 m in height. It is more famous among the visitors, due to its natural beauty. The salubrious air which is blended with the fragrances of wildflowers will make you more relax and comfortable. The area around the Dunhinda Water Fall in Badulla is full of breath-taking views.

11.Ravana Falls


It is another iconic waterfall in Badulla which is 82 feet in height. It is one of the best 3 tire waterfalls in Sri Lanka. We would not recommend you to hike up the rocky waterfall but why not have a dip in the basin right below the Ravana Falls.


12.Diyaluma Falls

This was the first stupa to be built in Sri Lanka during the life time of Lord Buddha. This relic was also enshrined and the Stupa was enlarged to a height of 18 feet Since then several kings renovated and enlarged this Stupa.
